Sometimes I like to take photo of something and purposefully turn it into something else. These photos are not meant to be sharp and clear, but to express something different, something more than a snapshot of an subject. From time to time I enjoy going into the opposite direction, changing textures, and reducing contrast to point that my photos look like they were almost painted. For some reason I really like the way they look, but it does not work for every photo.
